The Swipe Right
It started on Tinder with the now-legendary line: "Tell me something you can say at the dinner table as well as the bedroom?" Somehow, it worked. We matched, got chatting, and met in person at the Trent SU. Joe was in his Masters year, Sophie was in her second year.
First Date
Turtle Bay in Nottingham for drinks, then on to Bunk for cocktails. The kind of first date where you lose track of time completely.
Making It Official
7th March 2018 — just weeks after that first date, we made it official. When you know, you know.
Moving In Together
After four years of adventures, we took the next step and moved in together. Real life, real love, real arguments about the thermostat.
The Proposal
4th July 2024 — on a beautiful beach in Mexico, Joe got down on one knee. She said yes. Obviously.
Our First Home
9th February 2025 — we picked up the keys to 7 Mill Lane in Sevenoaks. Our very own place to call home.
The Fur Babies Arrive
Our family grew by six tiny paws — three kittens joined the household: Rey, Padme & Leia. Yes, we're Star Wars fans.
The Big Day
18th July 2026 — surrounded by our favourite people, we say I do.
